Well a lot of time has gone by since we last wrote. We already had our christmas break, which we spent part of it in Jackson and came back home to Grant for a while.
Rodney no longer works at Radio Shack, which is a huge praise. We have been hired in at a Church we have been attending since November. Rodney will be the Associate/Youth Pastor. We have been looking for a church to serve at since we came down here, and the Lord finally led us to one.
This is less stressful for school, as Rodney is able to make his own schedule, which means he will be able to come to the school socials with me rather than me going by myself all the time, which is wonderful and I am excited about that.
Our car is still broken down. We are not sure what we are going to do about that, so please keep us in your prayers as far as that is concerned. We are looking at the possibility of selling it and finding another car.
River and Laike are doing very well. Laike had her 1st birthday on the 15th and we had a huge party for her, which both of our families came down for.
River has his doctor's appointment at the University of Michigan on Thursday for his constipation problem he has had since before he turned one. We are hoping this visit will give us some more answers on what needs to be done with this problem. I am nervous they will say surgery, so please keep us and River in your prayers that everything would go well, and that the Lord would give the doctor's wisdom.
I will try to keep a better posting from now on.
